Questions before you book
Services and prices
What’s the difference between your three services?
End of tenancy is for empty properties when you move out, and includes one standard oven and inside all cupboards. Deep cleaning is for homes you’re living in: we clean thoroughly around your belongings, and the oven is an extra (£45, range ovens from £65). After builders is the final clean once building or decorating work is finished: building dust, paint and plaster marks.
How do you price a clean?
Fixed prices by service, bedrooms and bathrooms, plus any extras you choose. You’re not paying by the hour, so you know the full cost upfront. Heavily soiled properties or heavy builds may cost more; we confirm this from your photos before booking, never on the day.
Do you take away building rubbish?
No. We remove building dust, paint and plaster residue, and protective film, but not building waste, offcuts or materials. Please ask your builder to clear these before we arrive.
Do you clean walls?
No. We don’t wash walls or remove marks from them, because paint is easily damaged. We do wipe light switches, sockets, doors and skirting boards. After building work, we remove loose dust from walls with a vacuum or dry cloth only.
Are your cleaners insured?
Yes. Every cleaning team we use carries public liability insurance.
Before the clean
Does the property need to be empty?
For an end of tenancy clean, yes: completely empty, including cupboards, the fridge and wardrobes. For an after builders clean, all work must be finished and the builders’ tools, materials and rubbish removed. Anything left is cleaned around and isn’t covered by our free re-clean.
Do I need to prepare my home for a deep clean?
We clean your home as it is, so please clear worktops, surfaces and floors and put personal items away. We clean inside cupboards and the fridge only if you’ve emptied them. We don’t move heavy furniture, so if you’d like behind something cleaned, move it beforehand.
When should I book an after builders clean?
Once all the work is finished, including decorating and snagging. No trades should be working in the property on the day, because new dust undoes the clean. Paint and grout should have had 48 hours to dry. If the work runs late, move your date for free with more than 48 hours’ notice.
Do I need to be there?
No. Most clients leave keys with the letting agent, the site manager or a key safe. We send you photos of every room when the clean is finished.
What do I need to know before booking?
We bring all products and equipment, including a vacuum, so you just need electricity and water on. We cover London and surrounding areas, and need at least 48 hours’ notice. For something urgent, WhatsApp us and we’ll do our best.
Changes and re-cleans
What if something was missed?
Send us photos within 48 hours. If anything in the agreed clean was missed, the team comes back and puts it right free of charge, usually within 1–2 working days.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, free of charge up to 48 hours before your clean. Within 48 hours, your deposit (£50 for studio and 1 bed, £75 for 2–3 bed, £100 for 4 bed and larger) is kept because your team has already been booked. See our Terms for details.
